CNFA Spotlights Six Farm Service Centers in Côte d’Ivoire
With support from the GIZ-funded Green Innovation Centers for the Agro-Food Sector Project, CNFA established six Farm Service Centers (FSCs) in the Indenie Djuablin, Nawa, San Pedro and Haut-Sassandra regions of Côte d’Ivoire, reaching last-mile markets where quality inputs and services are typically inaccessible. The FSCs are adaptable, scalable and tailored to their community’s needs, offering products, services and training to help farmers scale up and support local agriculture sector growth. They are also supplied with mechanization kits, allowing them to rent equipment such as adjustable pole tree pruners, drilling machines, solar-powered sprayers, brush cutters and three-wheeled motorcycles to local producers.
